Ann Duckett is a cheese educator, food writer, and recovering cheesemonger, passionate about sharing the story of the life of cheese - from whey to wheels, to the art of plating to pairing. As owner of Little Bleu Catering and Events, Ann helps others find their cheese bliss through classes, private and open events, and cheese catering for groups from 4 to 200. She is a graduate of the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese at the University of Vermont, and has earned the Level II Award in Wine & Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust. She supports the local micro- and small batch food movement in the Finger Lakes region and beyond, volunteering her time to various organizations, urban farms, and programs. Outside the classroom, Ann is tasting her way through European wines, entertaining, and trying new recipes that incorporate her favorite food - cheese.
